A transparent formulation charter

We seek the right balance to create effective make-up that favors naturalness while guaranteeing sensoriality and colors specific to the brand and its universe.

Our formulas, enriched with raw materials and active ingredients of natural origin, respect a transparent formulation charter based on naturalness, efficacy and sensoriality.

We carefully select the key active ingredients in our formulas.

Discarded ingredients

Ingredients of animal origin:
In keeping with our commitment to the cause, we have eliminated all ingredients derived from animal production.

Silicones:
Silicones are known for their sensorial qualities when applied to the skin, their powdery finish and many other functions. Nevertheless, we do not use silicones in our formulas, as they are products of synthetic origin.

Acrylates/Polyacrylates:
Polymers that add sensoriality to the product. We do not use it, as it is a polymer of synthetic origin.

Phenoxyethanol (convertor):
This is an effective preservative often used in cosmetics formulas. We have decided not to include it in our formulas, as it is not only controversial, but is also derived from petrochemicals.

EDTA:
EDTA is a chelating agent which binds molecules and ensures formula stability by preventing the development of bacteria in the product. It is, however, under environmental scrutiny and has therefore been ruled out.

Parabens (preservative):
We prefer to turn to other preservatives, as parabens are widely publicized as potential endocrine disruptors.

Polyethylene (plastic powders and microbeads)
Polyethylenes (plastic powders and microbeads) are used in certain make-up products to guarantee sensoriality and maintain the viscosity, appearance and stability of a product. As they are pollutants, we have excluded them from the formulation.

Talc:
Talc is used as a sensorial agent, skin protector or opacifier. It is controversial in the United States, where traces of asbestos have been found, which is why we have decided to exclude it from our formulas.

Mineral oils and waxes:
Recognized for limiting water loss and moisturizing the skin, they are the allies of fragile skin. However, as they are derived from petrochemicals, we have ruled them out.

Tolerated ingredients

Titanium dioxide :

This mineral-based pigment is used as a UV absorber, colorant and opacifier. Its use in nano-particulate form in cosmetics is the subject of debate, as it is suspected of penetrating the skin barrier. Titanium dioxide in nano-particulate form is only authorized for use in suncare products (on the INCI list, the word "[Nano]" after its name "TITANIUM DIOXDE" indicates its size). If it doesn't say "[Nano]", it means it's in microparticle form (a molecule too large to penetrate beyond the epidermis). We do not use nanoparticles in our formulas.

Certain synthetic pigments :

To guarantee a broader color palette, we have authorized certain pigments of synthetic origin.
