Cream eyeshadow can be applied with a brush or finger. The choice depends on several factors:
- The desired result on the skin: Finger application is preferable for a more natural finish, whereas eyeshadow applied with a brush is more precise.
- Eyeshadow texture: finger application is recommended for cream eyeshadow, but not impossible with a brush! The cream texture of our eyeshadows is light and easy to apply.
- How much time you have: Finger application is often quicker and requires fewer touch-ups than brush application, although brush application can cover even the smallest spaces on the eyelid.
- Targeted areas: Our eye shadow can also be applied as a complexion illuminator, in small dabs on the bridge of the nose or cheekbones. Finger application is very practical in this case.
The choice of eye shadow depends on several factors: the desired result, eye color and your other make-up products, for example. To highlight light eyes, light shades are recommended, such as 02 Retro Pink or 01 Golden Hour. Our 5 shades can also be used as a highlighter, for an illuminating effect to match your eyeshadow.
For daytime make-up, lighter shades such as 02 - Retro Pink are guaranteed to give a fresh, awakened look. For evening make-up, we recommend a slightly darker shade such as 03 - Copper to highlight your eyes without dulling them. Copper and orange tones can bring a subtle warmth to green eyes, creating a beautiful contrast.
To highlight blue eyes, soft golden shades such as 01 - Golden Hour bring luminosity and radiance and set them off to best advantage. You can also add a little more contrast with cream eyeshadow in bronze tones, slightly more metallic. Shades 03 - Bronze and 04 - Copper create a subtle contrast that brings out blue eyes. Application is just as important. Be sure to blend the colors to avoid harsh transitions.
Dark brown eyes are often much richer than we imagine. Warm tones like our shades 03 - Bronze and 04 - Copper create a light contrast that reveals and enhances the richness of dark eyes. To lighten the center of the eyelid a little and add a touch of glamour, a more golden shade like our cream eyeshadow 01 - Golden Hour can be used subtly as a complement or on its own for a lighter, fresher make-up look.
To apply eyeshadow, the Blending Brush for blending colors and the Flat Brush for precise, intense application are particularly recommended. A good alternative is finger application. Particularly recommended when eyeshadow has a creamier or highly glittery texture. The warmth of the fingers helps the color to melt into the skin, enhancing the natural look of the application.
Combining the 2 also allows greater freedom in results. A combination of flat brush to apply and finger to blend is ideal when using a single color. If you're playing with several shades, the combination of blending brush and finger gives more natural results.
